About me
Hi my name is James, I am a 31 year old guy living in north GA. I’m married to a wonderful woman named Kecia. We have a wonderful 1 year old little boy named Sawyer. We have a golden retriever puppy, well if you want to call him a puppy he’s 4 years old. I have a older brother that’s 6 years older than me and two nieces.
Education
I graduated from DeVry University in March 2002 with a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems. When in college I mainly studied programming languages such as COBOL, C, C++ and VB6. I also took some classes on Unix/Linux. I have since began my long journey of learning the Java programming language. I am lucky enough to have the okay from my boss to learn it while at work.
Work
I work as a Database Analyst using Oracle at the local telephone company. When I say local I don’t mean small little company, we have ~10,000 employees in 23 states. I support the engineers in the SE region of the US with their software and ensure the data they are getting is correct. I think there are 350 engineers I support as well as 6 drafters in house that I support.
Hobbies
I like playing with my little man Sawyer, working out, playing guitar, playing with our puppy, playing video games(Rock Band 3 drums!) and writing computer programs.
